Road Map

Phase I: Reward Mechanism

  • Launch DLP with data contribution

  • Launch Escrow contract with $VANA emissions for DLP that controls distributions

  • Launch vanilla staking into the DLP

Phase II: Governance

  • Release nirVANA contract

  • Provide the ability to vote on Category Weights

Phase III: API Access

  • Launch API access via nirVANA

  • Launch yield sacrifice to access the Pro-Tier

  • Launch tokenized access to the DLP

Future Innovations

In additions to the above the roadmap we envision a number of future features that could be implemented to further enhance the governance model.

Tokenized Access

Access to the API will be tokenized in the future. This will allow users to perpetually lock up their $VANA and sacrifice their yield to mint an ERC-20 token representing access to the API. This token can be then sold, lent or otherwise transferred to other users providing additional pathways to access the data to different types of users.

Vote Delegation

Voting delegation will be implemented to allow passive users to delegate their votes to other users. This will simplify voting for more passive users in the DLP.

Other DLP Integrations

Another innovation will be to open the nirVANA system to allow any DLP to utilise this governance model. This will also streamline the process to access data sets for data users while creating positive externalities to the entire Vana ecosystem.
